Rich Vojticek Memorial Award

Ellie Wren and Marilyn Brandt receive the Rich Vojticek Memorial Award

The Rich Vojticek Memorial Award honored two people this year. Colin 'Nick' Wren was a coach and referee in the 70s who served as manager of the Heights youth league. Ray Brandt coached youth games, ran the scoreboard, and was the Voice of the Tigers, announcing varsity games.

The award honors Rich Vojticek, the long-time owner of Cleveland Sport Goods Company. It's bestowed as a tribute to those who have displayed dedication, principle and generosity over the years to the Heights Hockey system.
