Heights faced a big challenge in a non-league game against the Gilmour Lancers. The
Tigers managed two solid periods, but wore down by the third frame. Heights trailed
just 3-2 late in the second period but Gilmour scored a pair of goals in the 70
seconds before intermission. The Lancers finished with four more in the third. The
two Tiger goals were recorded by Paris Murray and
Dee Samuel. Murray scored on a first period
powerplay to tie the game at one. Samuel scored his team-leading sixth goal in just
his seventh game of the year.
