Heights finally snapped a six game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over the Rocky River
Pirates. The Tigers kept offensive pressure on Rocky River from the opening faceoff and
built a four goal lead by the end of two periods. Lee
Allen registered the game's first goal in the first period. Heights put the game away
in the second period as Jeff Hindulak,
Joe Ross, and Brendon
Benner each scored. Rocky River spoiled Matt
Crowell's shutout early in the third period, but the Tigers would surrender nothing
more despite spending most of the period killing penalties. With this victory, the Tigers
won their first game and scored their most goals in nearly a month. |
