Heights finished their brief appearance at the Thornton Park Holiday Tournament with an
ugly 6-4 loss to the Trinity Trojans. The Tigers made many turnovers and took eight
penalties, giving Trinity plenty of opportunities to score. The Trojans had a 4-1 lead
in the third period before the Heights offense really got in gear.
Marcus Dancy cut the lead to 4-2 but the Tigers
continued to play shaky defense and Trinity soon restored their three goal advantage.
Two sizzling slapshots from Doug Turner brought the
Tigers back within one, but another weak goal finally ended Heights chances.
Lee Allen had notched the Tiger's first goal with his
second tally of the season. |
