Heights lost their first league game of the season and watched their overall record drop below the .500 mark with a 5-0 loss to the Padua Bruins. The Tigers were overpowered by the Bruins in Heights' second shutout loss of the season, being outshot by approximately a 3:1 ratio. The score would've been even worse had it not been for Matt Crowell's 35 saves. Co-captain Brian Clark missed this game after suffering an injury one day earlier against Lake Catholic.
