1/21/98 University School 3 - Cleveland Heights 0 Heights lost their third straight league game with a 3-0 defeat at the hands of University. With captain Eddie Babcox out for two games, the Tigers were unable to score a single goal in consecutive shutout losses to Rocky River and University. Heights has notched a total of two goals during their three game losing skid. Against University, the Tigers created a number of scoring chances but didn't have the finishing touch. Andrew Markus played well, showing no signs of the shoulder injury which sidelined him against Rocky River. He finished with 33 saves. Shannon Barden and Lee Allen both sat this game out, leaving Heights with a mere twelve skaters. |
