Heights ended the season with a hard-fought loss to Chagrin Falls in the first round of the State Tournament. Both teams battled back and forth all game. The score was 2-2 entering the third period until Chagrin broke the tie with a powerplay goal in the last five minutes. Both Heights goals came in period number two. Senior defenseman Sam Brown led the rush and scored his 17th of the year on a wrist shot. With a short bench, defenseman Aleksi Vihanto played most of the game at forward. He showed off his hands and gave the Tigers a 2-1 lead, stickhandling through much of the Chagrin Falls team en route to his tenth goal.
