Heights finished the regular season with a bang, beating Canfield 7-1. Ben Urbas scored on a breakaway in the opening minute and the Tigers never looked back. Aleksi Kuuri and Sam Brown scored back-to-back powerplay goals later in the period and it was 3-0 at the first intermission. Sam Brown picked up another powerplay goal in the second period, then set up his brother Isaac Brown in front to make it 5-0. Canfield got on the scoreboard late in the second, but Heights got it right back in the third. Sam Brown came through again to cap off his second career hat trick. Tyler Rudy finished the scoring with his team-leading 22nd goal. Aidan Hall stopped 11 shots in the win. |
