Heights finished the league season with a 5-3 loss to Mayfield. The Tigers spent much of the
second period killing penalties, which wore the team down and slowed the offensive attack.
Heights still had a chance to come back, as Sam Brown's
second goal of the game made it 4-3 in the third, but an empty-netter by Mayfield closed
the door on any rally. Jordan Shoger also scored for
Heights, giving him fourteen for the year. Liam Robinson
had another busy night, stopping 37 of 41 shots. |
