Another day, another one-goal loss for Heights. Special teams were the order of the day as
Brecksville scored three on the powerplay while the Tigers scored two with a man-advantage
and once shorthanded. Sam Brown scored in the first
period and Brad Shoger fired a rocket from the point to
tie the game at two in the second period. Brecksville recaptured the lead with two powerplay
goals and it was 4-2 entering the third. Jordan Shoger
recorded the only goal in the final period on a shorthanded breakaway. That gives him nine
goals on the season and a share of the team lead with
Olof Nilsson.
Liam Robinson stopped 27 shots as the Tigers fell to a
1-6 record in one-goal games. |
