The Tigers skated to their second consecutive tie, this time a 2-2 draw with Rocky River.
Liam Robinson deserved most of the credit after turning
away 46 shots, including a penalty shot in overtime. Heights' offense struggled all night
long and Robinson had to be sharp. Turnovers were plentiful and the Pirates dominated
possession time. Olof Nilsson came through in the clutch
to bring the Tigers back from a 2-0 deficit. He took a feed from
Sam Lauritzen and buried a one-timer late in the second
period, then struck again to tie it in the opening minute of the third. |
