The Tigers tried to rebound from a tough loss the previous night, but instead fell flat
against North Canton Hoover. Heights played a slow and sloppy first period, falling behind
3-1. Then they completely disappeared in the second as Hoover outshot the Tigers 20-1.
Netminder Liam Robinson somehow held the Vikings to just
one goal in the period, but Heights never recovered and went on to a 6-1 loss.
Olof Nilsson's first period goal was the team's only
offense. For the second night in a row, the Tigers and their opponents combined for 24
penalties, and Heights once again surrendered three powerplay goals. |
