Heights once again opened the season by participating in Bowling Green's Thanksgiving
Tournament. The Tigers' first opponents were the defending state-champion Bowling Green
Bobcats. Thanks to the stellar play of goaltender Matt
Crowell, this game was still scoreless after two periods even though Heights looked
fairly rusty. In the third period, Bowling Green eventually scored twice while the
Tigers struggled to mount an offensive attack. Crowell's outstanding 46 save performance
kept Heights in the game, but the end result was a 2-0 loss. |
