Game Summary for 1/25/97 Heights 4 - Garfield 2
Heights gave head coach Kirk Guenther the perfect 25th birthday gift with a victory over Garfield. Chuck Dancy and Eddie Babcox each scored before Garfield came back to tie the score at two. However, Owen May scored the deciding goal on a five minute power play with 2:30 remaining in the second period. A Brett Aber slapshot in the third period made the final score 4-2. Goaltender Andrew Markus made 25 saves to earn his ninth win of the season.
