The Tigers gave a miserable defensive performance in a 9-0 defeat at the hands of Dublin Coffman. Heights lost the battles in the corners and they were weak in front of the net. The Shamrocks repeatedly gained control of the puck in the corner and then passed to an open man in the slot. Most of Coffman's nine goals were scored in this manner. The Tigers did have a handful of quality shifts in the offensive zone, but came away empty-handed.
