The Tigers closed the Thornton Park Tournament with another ugly performance, falling 8-2
to Mentor. The offense stalled as Heights made frequent turnovers and couldn't break out
of the defensive zone. Mentor scored four in the second period and led 5-0 before the
Tigers managed to score in the third. Paris Murray found
Chris Zirm on the back door for the team's first goal.
Five minutes later, Murray polished off a breakaway for his team-leading seventh goal.
Freshman netminder Liam Robinson was once again hung out
to dry by his teammates, as he faced more than 50 shots in his second straight start.
