Heights returned to league action with a 4-1 home loss against Mentor. The Tigers were
out-skated and out-hit for much of the match, especially in the early going. The game
would've been blown wide open in the first period if not for a great performance from
Daley Baker in goal. He stopped 19 of 20 shots in the
opening period and finished with a total of 34 saves. This contest was marred by 20
penalties, but neither team managed to capitalize on a powerplay. The lone Heights goal
was scored by Paris Murray, who leads the team with 18
in 22 games.
