Heights topped the tournament host, beating the Dublin Scioto Irish 5-1. The Tigers were in control for most of the game, but Scioto stayed closed because Heights couldn't bury their chances. The Tigers outshot the Irish by a count of 41-17. Dee Samuel scored the game's first three goals, earning his second career hat trick. Ethan Farris scored next to make it 4-0 after two periods. Scioto got on the board in the third period, but Eric Brandt finished them off, pouncing on a rebound to drive home his first career goal. Daley Baker stopped 16 of 17 shots for win number eight.
