The Thanksgiving tournament ended in disappointment as the Tigers lost the lead and
the game to Shaker. Heights scored a pair of early goals and played two strong periods
before stumbling in the third. Jason Kelce and
Rollin Hannah each picked up their first goal of the
season to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead after ten minutes. Shaker scored the next three
goals to take the lead at the end of two periods, but Heights was still in the game.
Instead of coming out strong in the third period, the Tigers fell flat and surrendered
three goals in the first four minutes. Heights had a few more chances to get back in
the game but only scored once, with Dee Samuel
recording his third of the season.
