Heights finished the regular season with a non-league game against Gilmour. The Tigers
fell behind early, fought back to tie the game, then allowed five unanswered goals in
the second half. Gilmour had a 2-0 lead before Heights scored in the final seconds of
the first period. Jason Kelce took a breakaway pass
from Dee Samuel and knocked in his own rebound. The
Tigers stayed on the attack in the second period, tying the score halfway through. Kelce
entered the Lancers' zone on a 2-on-2, beat his defenseman, and passed to
Paris Murray, who put the puck away. Gilmour regained
the lead with two goals later in the period and Heights just couldn't get things going
again in the third. John Mates ended up with 31 saves,
including 17 in the second period. Murray's goal gives him a three-game scoring streak.
