Recap

Heights surrendered a late lead before losing in overtime to Western Reserve. The Tigers led 2-1 through most of the third period, but the Pioneers scored a powerplay goal to tie the game with less than two minutes on the clock. Heights almost regained the lead with a 2-on-1 break, but Jason Kelce's shot hit the post and the game went to overtime. Western Reserve eventually scored the game-winner, 24 seconds before the end of overtime. John Mates stopped 31 of 34 shots in the loss. At one point in the second period, the Tigers held a 2-0 lead. Paris Murray scored his seventeenth goal of the season and Dee Samuel scored his eleventh. Murray and Samuel are currently first and second on the team in both goals and points.
