The final home game of the season did not progress according to plan as the Tigers
buried themselves with a poor first period. Heights couldn't keep up with the
Preppers in the defensive zone and US scored four times in the period.
Milton Carter recorded his fourth goal of the season
in the first period, but it turned out to be the only time the Tigers scored in the
game. Heights had plenty of other chances to score, they just couldn't put them away.
Throughout the second period, the Tigers' offense made a number of good plays to set
up scoring chances but they didn't capitalize. US added two goals in the third period
against Matt Crowell, who finished with 25 saves.
