Heights struggled at both ends of the ice in a 5-1 road loss against Padua. The
first period was the worst period for the Tigers. Only some great saves by
Ben Gaglioti prevented Padua from scoring more
than two goals. Heights played somewhat better after the first but were never
able to narrow the gap. Although unable to get a consistent offensive attack
going against Padua's defense, the Tigers did turn a number of Padua turnovers
into odd-man rushes. Unfortunately, only one of these chances netted a goal.
Jeff Houser scored unassisted on a 2-on-1 late
in the third period. Gaglioti's 37 saves while under constant fire kept the
score closer than it should've been. |
