The city of Cleveland Heights remembered Kyle, Brendon and Milton with a ceremony on the afternoon of June 9th. Three maple trees were planted and a park bench was dedicated behind the site of the new ice rink. Cleveland Heights Mayor Edward J. Kelley, Tigers' Head Coach Kirk Guenther, and Brendon's father Bill Benner each spoke briefly, then all attendees were invited to help plant the trees.
